Independent Contract: Sales Representation – 100% Commission – Remote – Full or Part Time – Engineering Division


Lean Systems Consulting is seeking a Sales Representative to our Engineering Division to meet the growing demand of on-site Engineering consulting services. This is a 100% sales commission role based on generating sales, following up on leads and setting up meetings with potential clients. Candidates with technical backgrounds are preferred or have experience in Lean Manufacturing methods.


Compensation
  • $1000 finders fee for all paid consulting services over $5,000 for each client.
  • After $5,000, there is a 10% compensation for all contracts for that customer for the first year with no cap.
Certifications Preferred
  • Master Black Belt
  • Lean Certified
  • Certified Auditor


What type of candidates apply?
  • Most of our sales reps fit into two categories. The first group are folks wanting to learn more about lean methods and would like to be mentored or trained by experienced SMEs without incurring the cost of a Certification. The second group are folks who have knowledge of lean systems but may not have the infrastructure or platform to consult on their own.
  • 70% of sales reps have full-time jobs and work the sales rep role on the side to earn additional compensation.

Requirements

  • Engineering or Technical background preferred.
  • Experience in the following fields is desirable, Lean Manufacturing, Quality, Product Design, and Operations Management.
  • Effective communications and presentation skills.
  • Follow and model the organization’s values (REACH).
  • Must be highly organized, with strong planning, time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Manage projects efficiently and independently.
  • Previous selling experience is preferred.
  • Self-motivated.

Bonuses

This role does not qualify for bonus compensation.

Benefits

This role is a 1099 NEC Independent Contractor position.

Responsibilities

  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers.
  • Build relationships with new customers.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
